180gallon tank for $150

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just took a look at it today. It is nice. Its acrylic, 1/2" thick. 72" x 24" x 25". Comes with stand and canopy like cover. I dont think i can pass it up. I was going to let the mfk community know where to get it if i didnt grab it but i saw it today and i want it. Im scheduled to pick it up sunday. Whats the best way to tell if it holds water and doesnt leak? The guy said he would fill it up with water for me. How else?

I dont think ill be able to set it up atm. But i will store it until i save up some money for a good filtration system. It has a cool built in filter type thing. It was originally for saltwater. Ill post some pictures when i grab it.

Let me attempt explaining what i meant, forgive me for my lack of plumbing or filtration knowledge. It has a built in plumbing system i believe. He used a sump on it but that isnt included with the deal. The back of the tank has several holes drilled i believe with piping attached to it and has a main drainage system in the center where he had some kind of skimmer system on it. I think two of the holes have plugs in them. I dont know how else to explain it i shouldve taken pictures. I dont know how it works though. Im not saying there is anything wrong w a saltwater filter though. I briefly looked over one of the filtration sticky but i didnt understand much of it. Maybe ill take the time to study it one of these days.
