18lb Grass Carp

This is her second biggest fish, not as big as I hoped for. Seen one that was well over 30lb, probably pushing 40lbs.

This one is 18lb 6oz.

What do you use to catch em? Theres a few in my grandpa's pond and he wants them moved to his fishing pond.

We use an ultralight from 2-8lb test with a small piece of bread, no sinker so it floats. Then just wait for them to smash it

very nice. envious of your fishing skills. any kind of bread will work?

Well I use Kroger bread but you cant just use any bread. Some bread is very dry and it doesnt stick well. The crappy bread maybe good to chum but not for your hook.

Sweet catch its time for me to go get some carp! We have enormous commons in the James here.

I thought that was a grass?^^ But bread will work? and how could i locate them in a small pond without bluegills or bass getting em first?
