i have to agree with everyone on this one. 250 is pretty steep. you could maybe get 75 for it if you're lucky. Ive seen them go for 150 at this size though so dont get your hopes down.
yea....unfortunately RTC doesnt increase in price with size....actually depreciates with age like a damn car
I agree. I picked up my 12" RTC for $20. The pet store started out asking $50 for it, and then 3 months later, it was down to $20, so I picked him up. They get way bigger than what you've got, and no one's gonna have the tank big enough to keep it for life (needs to be donated to an aquarium, eventually), so no one's gonna pay $250 for a temporary fish.
oh, and the width of a tank should be at least double the length of the fish for it to be able to comfortably turn around in...
drop down the price and im sure youll be able to sell. how much did you get it for? id sell it for that! last time i saw a thread for sale on a rtc it was $20 here in san diego. that would be more reasonable.
here in socal these fish are a dime a dozen unfortunately. i see this all the time. he can go in my 800gl pond until i can get an aquarium to take him, but theres no way on earth i'll pay 250
