I agree with rain cajun, he has the proper size tank for a community of Vieja, although even in that size tank there is aggression.
I also like his cichlid choices, i was able to house bartoni comfortably in a 125, they spawned on one side and a pair of Lepidiolamprologus elongatus on the other, and their fry would combine in shoals in the middle. (one of my geographically incorrect diversions)

I'm also a sucker for any of the labridens group, and kept the yellow, blue and pantostictus in similar sized tanks

the labridens also share habitat in nature with carpintus, although it can be tenuous at best
