I got a 55g with a green texas 2inches and a convict the same size.i would really like a salvini would this work or to small of a tank.and iv never had a salvini thats why im asking.

What size tank do you think well work in the end?its my first texas and i know they get big.i was thinking grow the texas out then give him a tank to him self?iv had a few big cichlids in the past not a big fan of to many fish in one tank.
That could work. I would say a 75 gallon would be good or a 90 but that's my opinion

Salvinis don't gets that big so I don't see a overstocked tank.

Yea about 7inches fullgrow?if i can keep them all in the 55g i would be happy. but if 55g to small for all 3 then ill get another tank dont want to buy another tank if theres no need.but in the end if i have to ill well.
75 gallon would be best IMO since its wider. A 55 would be good for the convict and salvini but not the Texas due to size
