I dont want to blame anyone for the death of my beautiful ray. Whatever happen happened. I just pick the wrong one. I should have followed my 1st choice:nilly::nilly: :cry:

I received her thursday night. When i received her, she didnt swim around much and did have a little curling. I assume she was a little stress from shipping that why she curl a little, but today it is 3x worst overnight.

Temp is at 90 and ph at 6.7. Try feeding her mostly blackworms. but also had try earthworm and shrimp.

sunday she start pooping long white stringy poop and today super curled.
I have been keeping fish since highschool. I have pair of motoro which was raise from same size to 18". I read about death curl but never ever seen it in person before.

Anyone have any suggestion in helping her? Spend alot of $$ on her and dont want to lose her. Originally i want to get pair of leo, and pair of bd/leo; now i am so sad......

The saler have been very helpful thoughout the ordeal. Prop for his time and putting up with my many question.

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

PH seems low and temp HIGGGGGH... my guess is shock. Start with lowering that temp to the 80-82 range

I agree, lower temp. feed only blackworms till she starts eating. Hopfully she will, but blackworms are easier to eat and not have to work to hard at it. If you can, also add a few plants to the tank (live ones..) will help get the water were it needs to be. (thats only my opinion, has worked well for me and not for sure if it really helps, but seems to in my case)

^--- These where the conditions at the breeders facility so if it was shock it was from shipping not from changing tank conditions. I followed the other thread and I think you did everything you could

sorry for your loss

here some pic, i usually have the light off. I only turn on to take some pix :) Hope she make it.
