Yeah. SUUURREE! Last time i checked i just got my liscense and last time i checked petsmart does not sell arowanas or 26 inch clown knives. And I know more then some of the hater know it all adults on this forum. I at least know to keep my mouth shut. But then again you didn't come from my neighborhood and fo not know me so i will just accept your stupidity. But if you really knew me you would bot have said that.

pacus should not even be sold in stores, and to obtain one, you should have to prove you have a tank bigger then 350 plus gallons or atleast a 12 foot pond or bigger..............................


I would say a 500 gallon minimum but that is a whole different topic and i do not wanna mess up this thread so....

The same could be said for a lot of fish. Rtc, pangasius type catfish etc. Some people dont have big enough tanks for them at adult sizes and its very difficult to prove you are going to upgrade when needed.

I bought two pacu (I knew what I was getting into) I had no problem just said I want two and thanks, I bought two oscars and the dude hassled me about tank size and filtration I laughed and said I bought two pacu from you without a problem.... I was at a petco a few months ago and was asked to leave because I talked a guy out of buying pacu for his 40 gallon!!!! The manager told me that they post signs saying how big the fish gets and it's not their fault if people still buy them, I was going to buy a crab for my puffer and the girl wanted me to sign paper work saying I'd care for it I laughed and said it was a feeder and she refused sale but right next to it they had feeder fish god I hate chain pet stores
