Thanks guys the plants are artificial, and were purchased from Micheals on sale. They were getting rid of old stock I guess all plants were $1.00

Okay, this is the weirdest silver I have ever had, I just bought 10 feeder mollies from my feeder tank and the arowana is now hiding behind my driftwood. LoL, did this happen to anyone else?!
he was fed goldfish I am feeding him hikari food sticks, and just wanted to vary up his diet a little more like my past arowana's. He is still curled up lying behind the driftwood. I really dont understand he was kept with other fish so this is a whole new behavior for me.

yes, lights have been off, everytime I go look he swims out to look around the tank then slowly creeps back behind the driftwood. Funny thing is when a mollie comes up to him he freaks and swims to the other side and hides behind the plants....
