Procambarus clarkii, they're extremely common here in Texas but since I got him in a grocery store, he's probably from Louisiana. He's such a dick and always walks around with his claws up, hence his name, Nixon. I didn't know how lucky I got with the raphael cat until I brought him home and researched them here on MFK, he truly is a monster for the species, must be ancient. I have to hand feed him shrimp pellets in his little "cave" that he dug out under the holey rock. You can kind of see his striped head if you look closely under the large centerpiece rock on the bottom left. I'll try to get some pics of him soon, but I'll have to be sneaky at night, that's the only time he comes out all the way.
 
can you tell me the kind of sand your using? is it brown color or white?
 
WOW! That is truely an awsome tank! Love the big pacu :) The sevs also look amazing :) The crawfishnlooks absolutely HUGE! Ive alwats wanted a striped rapheal...Lucky you :P lol
