Hey all,
i got my first wolf some days ago.
It's a hoplias malabaricus.
He's eating any frozen food with no problem.

i read somewhere that malabaricus can become bigger in captivity than in nature sometimes.
In nature comes to 20" and in captivity can hit 28"+...true???
is one of the reasons that i preferred it than an aimara and because of his price of course...

This is NOT true Malabaricus will top out at 16-18 inches. Almost never getting bigger than that.

Here is what i read:

Maximum size: +70 cm / +28 inches ( They only grow to 50 cm / 20 inches in the wild but grows larger then that in aquariums.)
