Check out TlkMDN's Paroon shark on Youtube. Still very active and about 4 feet. Sucks that your ID sharks have stunted, I got mine on the fourth of July and they're about one foot.

mAKES YOU WONDER IF SIZE HAS BEEN BRED OUT OF THEM SOMEHOW FOR THE uk MARKET, a year ago nearly every local aquatics store had them for sale and all advertised them as growing 6-12 inch. I've seen a few ID sharks returned too and none have been bigger than 12 inch. None were skittish at that size too.

I'd got two words for you: Additional Liner

Paroons do NOT slow down as they grow old. IDs and Paroons swim non-stop from juvy to old age, period.

My Paroons and ID's just stay in the same small space all the time occasionally venturing to the middle of the pond where I place the food. They just like to hover into a mild current. In 14 months of ID ownership I haven't seen them swim much, yet! I think the British version of Active might be different to those using it abroad. I've never seen a Pangasius over 3 foot swimming at anything nearing fast. That includes TL's, Berlin Zoo's and the whopper at Animal Kingdom.

Again I don't know if the batch of 'Sutchi' the UK get are different to other countries but even the larger 12 inch returns I see in aquatic stores just hover in the same space like a Gator Gar.

Then the UK has some screwed up Pangasius.

Another 3 months have passed, I've given the smallest ID and Paroon away as the largest Paroon is eating everything and I didn't want them to starve (or be eaten).
The remaining ID sharks still haven't grown in the pond, I guess they've maxed out now. 1 of my Paroons is very small too, probably 3-4 inch. So the 4 inch a month hasn't applied to him! The other Paroon (that is very hungry but doesn't bother the few guppies that remain in the pond as potential feeder fish) is roughly 6-7 inch. If none of these fish reach at least 10 inch then I'm going to seriously regret selling my 4 foot tank.

Did somebody said "Paroon"????

People look for indoor ponds when their fish outgrow their tanks...... but why would someone look for fish that will outgrow the indoor pond itself!!!???!!!
That pond can very well be stocked with fish it can support..... why go All-Paroon???
Please go with something you can take care off..... I have seen people plan & plan & plan while there fish suffer and stunt...
