What happens when a ball hits one of those tanks???

They said they used lexen as a front panel + they added a gap so that any objects hitting the front panels wont affect the fish inside...

Sio it would seem they accounted for those kinda of problems, and even had a pitcher hurl a few fast balls at the tank and no mark was left...

I'm sure the build company took that into account. I don't think they have to worry about it breaking, just constant buffing of scratches.

Apparently some people only looked at the pictures and didn't care to read the article. They said it has a piece of lexan to protect the acrylic.

im sure they will rock chillers if need be. The last thing they want is a bunch of floaters. Im from the school of anywhere you put a fishtank looks cool. Everything could use some fish tanks for me to look at

FWIW: I work for the company that did these (in a round-about way).
They will be native South FL fish, and every aspect has been covered. Some of the various articles floating around have the 'facts' twisted a bit. And if you see a 'rendition' with sharks in the tanks, don't worry - NO SHARKS are getting crammed in there.

Thats cool to bad philly has no money for that :(

There is a local fish store here that has a huge cylinder tank in the center with blacktip reef sharks.Someone at the store told me that the tank was built by the same company that did these 450 twins.
