Steve I bought 2 small Thinbars from World of Water at Bicester in august 2009. They were 2.5-3". They had a dose of flukes but I successfully treated this-one of them I nearly lost and it lost a huge amount of weight. I had to put it in the turtle tank to recover and put some weight on. The other one ate pellets from the word go-started on Hikari carnivore and as it got bigger it moved to massivore. Its now around 7" and has the best growth of any Tiger I've had. The smaller one is 4" and I managed to get it on Hikari pellets. My NGT, which started off bigger than both Thinbars, only eats frozen prawn and bloodworm and is now smaller than the biggets Thinbar. Theres no doubt about it like T1 said if you want real growth get them on pellets. My bigger Indo, which I got from Wharf in the Summer (Richard Hardwick is also a top bloke and knows his Tigers-he actually served me on the day), won't touch pellets like the NGT and again isn't growing as fast. I've found it impossible to convert them but the Indo does eat freeze dried Krill.
