2.5in. Silver Aro com with male betta??

Is it possible for me to com a baby silver aro (2.5inches) with a male betta? i just wana find out before i decide what to do. thx

The betta might harass the aro. Baby aros are very delicate.
Even if it did work, the aro would be able to eat it within a month.

Actually I don't think that the betta will do anything to the aro. I've had bettas in community tanks before with tiny fish and they really aren't agressive to other species. I do agree however that the arowana will eat it in the next month or so cuz they grow fast.
 
betta will be gone pretty sooner than a month
 
IME: ...i had a betta with my 3" Jar and nothing happend...i took the Betta out when my Jar hit 4" (before he could be eatin)...

eventually the Betta would be eatin regardless.
 
I'm just hoping the aro will not be placed in a betta bowl :(

Just keep an eye on them for a while, should be OK. Both will enjoy being fed freeze dryed blood worms.
 
it should work for about 3 months then the betta will be lunch
