At that size yes. When bigger maybe not. They might have enough cycles to keep the bio in check but not enough for mechanical fitration. Those filters running at 100% gives you a 6.6x turn over rate which is not bad. But when the fish get some size on them and, well there poo gets some size on it they will not have enough to pick it up. So more vacing will be needed. But if this is not a show tank in your living room go for it.
i'd just add another ac 110 down the road. i'd say marineland 400 cause of the lower cost and the bio-wheel feature i like. but with that i'd say you are set for 10 years and by then you will have alot more choices for filtration i am sure of.

i have a marineland c-530 and a 400 HOB on my 120. it's overkill if you ask me. but if you are not like i am as in... siphon out uneaten food and poop on a daily basis then i say go with the more filtration. i take a big load off my bio and mechanical by my cleaning schedual.
the fx5 i wouldnt run solo on anything over a 150.
