2 Channa Gachu in tank few hrs later 1 left? HELP!!!!!!!!!

does it have a bulge in its belly? i think he got eaten..my 3" chinese snakehead amazed me by eating his 2" stiphodon blue goby tankmate, i dont know how he did it but i just saw a huge bulge in its stomach...

My guess is that he jumped out and land somewhere that you have not look yet. Is your place rat infested? I don't know of any rats being indoor and eating fish that jumped out.

I remembered when I introduced two males around the same size in a 120 tank. Within 10 mins they started fighting and they were going for blood. I had to pull the smaller one out before they kill each other.

i agree wif the bad reputation and another thing i juz wanna add 2 tis is they are territorial...

lol, no I didnt call the police haha, as of today no signs of the other sh, the one left is doing great... eats two cubes of blood worms withing a minute every day... getting some size on him. My room is clean and no sign of the other sh on the ground... other day I saw a small mouse but I dont think they eat fish... could be wrong... cant really do nothing but thanks for all the help guys!
 
oh my... u found a mice in uR house instead of uR fish?
 
this is basic eel, sh and poly keeping, but have you checked your filters??? lots of eel, like fish love to get in to fillters where they can surrvive for many months... just a spot of hope for you! if u have already checked it, have you completely striped it? its well worth a go!!!

yep i have a juwel tank with internal filter were my 2 foot tulip eel lives,, dont see him for weeks:)

today mine channa orientalis has jumped out of my aquarium and i diidn't saw for an hour en it went four metres through my room en hide under a closet but he did survived only a lil bit of dust on his fins
