2 different types of azul

Yes I have been around a long time but don't think I will be back considering the negativity

No negativity. Just asking you to use some of your time to answer your own questions. Like a teacher would in grade school. That way maybe you retain some of the information you had to learn. Rather than info given to you that you will soon forget.

If you look at any other section like Ray or datnoid 70% of the posts are people asking for a ID
Im not going to get the input in looking for
If I'm keen to find out as much info as I can before I get some I'm sorry but I thought asking before you buy is the key to not buying fish unsuitable for a tank

As far as I have gathered from my reading various posts here,in the ID stickies as well as regular posts,there is only one azul species,the piquiti.There may be regional variants which would explain the different striping that some have.
Most stuff I have read only name one type of azul
But it's very easy to see differences which I can see and a pro bass keeper should have noticed this too
A true Siamese tiger looks like a 3 bar indo tiger to the untrained eye or a new keeper of that type of fish

As stated before. There is only one type if azul. The only thing that really changes is base color. Some may look copper, greenish tint to gold.
The bars may change slightly. But the lines connecting them comes with age. Azuls dont vary so much in patterns like kelberi, orino or xingu.
