2 fahaka puffers???

Would it be possible to put 2 fahaka puffers in the same tank..(55gal). 1 is about 5in and the other is around 7in.?? I need to know asap.

you have a lfs that has 10 in stock? yes they will fight. and 55 is probably small for one let alone two.

I had no troubles keeping 2 together while they were Juvies. One hit a growth spurt and as soon as it got to be about an inch bigger than the other war began....The smaller one (about 4 inches) had to be moved.

At the sizes you stated.......if you're going to try it watch them with net in hand....don't go to sleep.....cause the smaller ones gonna be in trouble.

my 7" fahaka makes mince meat out of anything that comes near him. Plecos, anything. I can't have anything with him, he takes chunks out of fish haha

NEVER GUNNA WORK IN A 55

MIGHT possibly work in an indoor pond or something a little more spacious but in a 55 NO WAY IN HELL

it sounds like you plan on keeping the fahaka(s) in the 55 for life, which is much too small for even one. min size is 125, many say min is 180.

one it will outgrow the 55 in 6 months. when he gets startled he has no where to go and will hit his head on the glass

In general, fahaka's and anything is a bad mix. I find it kind of strange that your LFS has 5-10 in stock. Few stores stock one let alone multiples.
