2 filters for a 125 gallon

I concur on a canister, and definitely keep the ac110. On a 6 foot tank you need intakes on both sides of the tank regardless of the filter size.

Theres really no need for overkill here. Obviously, one Ac110 is not enough. However, you would be just fine with 2 Ac110's at each end of the tank. They are plenty large enough to support the bio load of africans and remember, they're rated at 500gph x's is 1000gph= 8x's per hour that tank is getting turned. Topped with regular water changes, you'll be completely fine.

Agree! :D Running an FX5 in combo with your current AC110 was also a good suggestion/choice!

I vote fx5 too. AC110 won't help enough with the bioload.

BS, two Ac110s will provide more then enough bio filtration for anything that you can stock in a 125g tank.

THanks Bderick! Not to mention Ac110's are like the frieght trains of aquarium filters, theres just no stopping them and they carry a load haha!
