In the fishroom
I would like to share with every one my large scale fish room project. I am going to do everything DIY and am shooting for 3000 gallons worth of setups. I will get into those details as the project progress's. To start I have 2 room in my basement going toward the build. One room measures 10x13 feet and the other 17x10 feet. I know its not alot of room but I am making due with what I have. The 10x13 room was a indoor hot tub room and I have started tonight by gutting it. I am fairly far and hope to be done tomorrow. The other room 10x17 is already a fishroom. I keeo a 135gallon and 450gallon in there. I plan on completly remodeling that room also. I am going to be building 5 ponds over 400 gallon. I also have a 8x3x2 tenecor tank on order. I hope I am not boring you already. I have a few pictures from my cell but will using a real camera for the rest of the project. Good luck, it should be neat as all get out! I'm just working like hell to finish my rec room so I can get started on my 75 :)
 
A little update: I will post pictures later tonight. I ordered my pumps today. I picked up 2 reeflo darts and 2 reeflo barracuda. Wood is on order and should be here soon. Also I had an electrician come today and turn the single 220v 70amp breaker into 2 20amp 120v breakers! I cant wait to get building. I will be ordering the custom fit pond liners next week which eliminate foled corners. This project is about to take off!!!!
 
I'm jealous, wish I had a bigger house lol! Goodluck with your fish room!
 
I cant find my camera but have made decent progress. The room is ready for me to start framing the ponds up which should start soon. I will have the wood sometime this week. I have liners, pumps, wood, and 2000 scrubbies on order. Along with 8 ebo jager 300 watt heaters with controllers, 26gallons of bio balls, 40l of matrix, mech media and bulkheads going on order tomorrow. Its not everything but its enough to get things rolling, This is a huge project and I need it done by feb 1st :) that includeds the ponds being cycled!
