I have raised two silvers now without D/E....one pictured above and many remember my 30+ inch aro that also had no drop eye...But no one takes my advice when given.....
But I certinly dont care either way----Hance the reason why I have stopped argueing with everyone---Simply not worth the time to me....
Take good care and provide it a nice home with huge water changes, excellent filtration, and nice varied diet and I'm sure one can see some nice results..

akskirmish;1848230; said:Freeze dried krill,raw shrimp,cod,pellets...
This aro is only skiddish at feeding times...The tank gets fed in one corner of the tank-When the all approach...The aro gets a bit cautious....But other than that-It takes to hand feeding/petting...I have no problems with macro shots,etc,etc.....
drop eye is a fat buildup behind an arowana's eye the cuases it to be permenently looking down, nobody really knows the causecrenipterus svenagalus;1848240; said:wow. love the color on the gill plates. that aro is gorgeous!! what is drop eye, and what causes it?
