Would the canister filter get rid of the algae? It can't be the area. The other tanks that I have next to and under this tank don't have this problem. That tank and my overloaded baby guppie tank have this problem while the rest of my cichlid tanks have crystal clear water with alittle algae on the glass. The eclipse 10 gallon hood on my 10 gallon gets the most sun but that filter system they have is awesome. Thats why I tried to bump up the bio wheels to try to mimic.
