I know that you can get a silver arowana that is six inches for around $100 retail. This is after the mark up. I work in the pet trade and we get silver arows all the time. Whole sale out of season fishfishfish, nautilus inc., heavenly fish and real pets all sell silver arrows that are six inches for $40. I say troll. You must be paying $250 for an out of season silver arowana that craps gold nuggets. Anyone who is willing to also say that they A: have a spring fed pond that stays 70 degrees year around in Alaska is obviously lying B: is that same person is going to test this ponds inhabitability with some feeder fish sounds outrageous, and C: anyone who lives in California who wants to try to buy two fish (that are very easily obtainable) from Alaska AND get them shipped to California, mind you that it is going into winter, is out of their mind.

Please stop derailing my thread. Will my arowannas enjoy having elodeia in their tank? will this help prevent drop eye? Second what do you recommend as a tank mate a teacup stingray OR a school of clown loaches? I am open to any other suggestions for tank mates.

I also added a powerhead to the Arowanas can swim and excersize in it. Just like a treadmill.

Pics or all of this nonsense didn't happen.

You still havnt learned "teacup stingray" can literary mean any baby stingray right? Teacup is not a species name.
Just from that bit of information alone, you are not ready for a ray, especially in a 40 cohabitant with arows.
