They are side by side...here is another pic that is not as sharp but shows the configuration a little better...

For the purposes of update, I split it out from the rest of the fry last night after confirming that it will eat (although not well). I fully expect that it will not make it, but as of this morning it is still living and actually looked better than last night...time will tell I guess

Hopefully they will but I am not counting on it. There looks to be 4 functional eyes and gills but I think they are joined right at the beginning of the stomach...

well, the only way they could make it is

a) separated from the others (as you have done)
b) constant care and monitoring

and even then, these things usually don't make it . . . but it will be interesting to see how far it goes, please keep us updated
