2 male Severums showing breeding behavior :S

Is this possible? my 8" Red Spotted Severum and my 4" Gold Severum, both male are cleaning rocks together and will not leave eachothers side at the bottom corner of my tank (the gold severum every now and then darts out to chase off other fish then comes back into position), is it possible to get a male/male pair? i really hope not as i made my tank all male to stop breeding in the first place!

My Red Spot Sev is a non fussy breeder, this will be the 4th time he has paired off, he has bred with 3 other females, 2 at the same time once.

Do you think it is possible my Gold is a female, despite the facial markings? my old female gold which was 8" had very feint facial markings.

Also my Gold is well to small to breed.

That gold is a female. Two of my gold females had some minor facial markings like that too.

Why not just vent the fish and find out what sex it is?

Because i dont know how to, plus i have never seen a female with facial markings like that :S
