One of our motoros had her second litter of pups on 5-8-07. There were 4 in this litter. Her first litter contained 2 pups. They are doing well and will be for sale in a few weeks.
Another one of our motoros had her first litter on 5-14-07. This mother is less than 2 years old and was born in July of 2005. She is a captive bred ray bred by Colin (rvrrays). Her litter contained 3 pups. These are also doing well and will be for sale in a few weeks. Shortly after giving birth, we watched the mother being bred by one of the males in the system. This is the first time we have actually witnessed breeding occur.
We've been very busy here at Amazon Stingrays setting up new systems, constructing better filter systems, and working on the webstore, so having 2 litters of pups within 6 days makes us feel that all the work is paying off.
