2 more p14 x Leo pups born last night

I had 2 more pups born last night
Very nice big fat pups 7-8"

But they have yolk sack in my experience pups don't make it with yolk sack so I can only hope

I just wondered if anyone has had pups live that was born with the sack

I was told the pups absorb the waste in the water from the yolk sack which poisons them

Anyone else had pups live that was born with the yolk sack

They should be ok. Ime it just takes them a few days to start eating but i never had any problems

I have only had yolk sack once before but they was much more premature than this

I was told in the past the chance of them living is very slim as they absorb all the toxins in the water throw the yolk sack which will poison them

We will see what happens

This female has had 9 pups in the last 18 months with 3 being the max litter

The pups have all been very big 6-8"

But out of 9 only one male which is great if you are selling them but not good for me as I want to keep a nice male BAD

Your water quality is soooo pristine it shouldnt be poisoning them at all....

I've had lots of pups born with yolk saks and do fine but like trev said it just takes them longer to start eating. Nice pups.
