2 more p14 x Leo pups born last night

No real differences I could tell in the tank between pups born with no or huge yolk sacs it all just seemed to vary. I did find as my females matured the pups did get larger. Glad they are still fine. I found the bigger pups seemed healthier all the time.
 
looks good never had any pups with yolk sacs... not to derail but wern't u the first to have pure p14's have u had any pure 14's lately
 
not had any pure blood p14 for 20 months

i have found p14 to be less fertile than other rays

my male p14 only breeds with the female leo now

i had a male leo that ripped a female p14 to bits trying to breed but she wouldnt give in no matter how much damage she got this tells me thats she wasnt ready to breed again
the female p14 was the last female i had pups from so she can breed just not fertile again

i think rays come into season much like dogs and the same as dogs if the female is not in season they will fight the male off no matter what
 
Great looking pups. I'm sure they will be fine.
