Congrats, joeytoe! That's an extra, extra good pickup right there! so how much did you pay for that 'delhezi', anyways?!!

yeah, i also picked up a 17"+ P.e.'delhezi' at a LFS once... it was the same 'species' as yours?!!... was one of the best deals ever, in my life!! ;)

endy's are brown, delhezis are grey, endys have a bigger head and protruding lower jaw, delhezi's don't.

IMO they look very different. Yours is an endy.

btw that's not a dormitator maculatus either, it's a marble goby (Oxyeleotris marmorata)

This is a dormitator

And this is a delhezi...

Notice the smaller less flat head, the grey colour and the smaller, more defined black markings?

Im just going on what Ive always known as a Dormitator Goby. this guy looked farmilar but was listed as a Wolf Mouthed goby.

Im still unsure on the Poly since im trying to get the tea color outve the water (fairly new bogwood syndrome) he looked Gray in the bag, as for every other clue to tell what he is. I cant really get a good look at him as hes constantly at the back of the tank.

Honestly man, it's an endlicheri endlicheri, there is no chance it's a delhezi.

Which is a good thign for you, endys are usually harder to get and more expensive.

Just compare the photo of your fish in the bag with the delhezi I posted. Delhezi is grey with sparse clearly defined black markings, yours is light brown with mottled dark brown markings. Yours has a large flat head, with bigger eyes that are more located on the top of the head than the side, more similar to a frog.

Yours also has bigger lips and a protruding lower jaw.

Honestly joey, yours is an endy not a delhezi.

Ok so I guess I got a sweet deal, How much would a endlicheri go for in a LFS?

I payed €80,- for mine. But they are rare here.

well joey, in england the couple of times I saw an endy for sale as an endy, they are almost twice the price of a delhezi. Delhezi around 30 quid, endy around 50 quid.

I've seen endys labelled as ornates and lapradei labelled as palmas, so it's not surprising that yours was labelled delhezi.

HOw much did you pay?
