Is it a type of basset or gramma? There are a few purple species of each. Very cool fish!!

Is that your only salt tank? It looks awesome man!! Great selection of fish!! :D I had some green/blue chromis decide they would rather be in my sump a couple times. Was rather shocking to find them down there. Haha

I believe it's a type of Gramma-
I'll post a crappy pic in a few minute of it for ya....

Yeah it's my first salt tank-
It started in a 40 gal brdr setup-Then it went to a 33 gal long setup-Then to my 90 gal-And now this 72 bowfront I just setup for it last night-Which will be it's final tank....
I just kinda jumped into a salt tank-Not knowing much of anything-I just knew I wanted one-It wasn't setup properly-And it showed....
I have now sold most of my tanks and equipment to concentrate on this reef setup-It's now getting to the point whre I can call it a "proper" setup....Got a few more things to get in order though-But that will come very soon-Then I'm going stocking nuts with it.....
Should be interesting....
I would also be quite shocked to find them down there-Hopefully I dont though...
 
This is hte guy I dont have a clue about-But it's quite mean for it's size...

They will continue to improve----I just do what I can with what I got.....

Only the best shippers can get me fish alive and well-
All other's fail.....Really have to know packing/shipping to get healthy fish here-90% of the time when I get fish shipped to me-I have to recover them from their death beds.....Freezeing water-Beat all to hell,etc,etc.....Then I get the luxury of dealing with no overnight shipping to Alaska-It's all 2 day-No matter what----
The only vendor that has sucessfully shipped me shipments without any fear of dead fish and fish that all arrived healthy and desiese free would be Nate at Mass Aggression.....He knows his shipping.....

So yeah-it's a bit rough to get fish here----I mostly pick all most from my LFS-I have very good luck with picking quality specimens at fry stages......I dont have acess to all the good stuff like people in the lower 48 and elswhere----So it's a bit frustrateing seeing fish I want-But no I can't obtain them (safely)....
