2 New setups in one day for Cichlids

That's sweet. The sump for the 60gal could use some tweaking. I would take it out of there and modify it for a wet/dry system, there's more live bacteria in w/d systems than if the bioballs are just submerged. Also, you could use some coral chucks, or shells in the sump to buffer and harden the water.

Looking forward to seeing those frontosas in there. Again, a little suggestion, if I may, add at least 20lbs of aragonite sand in there, it will definitely help with the water parameters again :).

No, the husband was there to watch me load up the tank. Apparently, they had rented out the house and the person never took it with them.

I got some lights this way. The renter just left them behind.

Very nice setups

For the 60 gallon, I'm also gonna be running a FX5 with it. I just havent located one yet. I will run the filter once I get it along with the sump until it is established. I will eventually not use the sump anyone and transfer it back to a reef sump.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments and I also cant wait for the introduction of fish. I just have to get a couple of plants for the big tank and I will be done.

Check on the tank this morning and the water is super clear. Im really impressed with the filteration power of the FX5
