The Spotted cats I had were slow growers maybe 2 inch per year.

Yeah the pictus/pims are relatively slow, but fill in nicely. I'd add a few more, they're always hyperactive and love being in groups. One funny thing you may notice is when they fight a bit with each other (basically just chase) or when you net them out, they make a buzzing noise.

gotcha so mybe about the same as the GT, speaking of which what size do GTs become sexually mature? does anyone know

id imagine the buzzing is alot like when you net a large RTC and they grunt, this is just them forcing air over their gills

No idea on the GT, but one thing to check is make sure that the pictus are getting plenty of food. They eat like pigs. The ones I had would actually come to the surface and attack the frozen bloodworms when I gave them a treat.

oh yea theyve got plenty i feed them atleast 3 times a day and only what theyll consume in about 5 mins. they get shrimp pellets, cichlids pellets, which are intended for the GTs but they eat them anyway, and right now they get white worms, but theyll be getting blood worms when i run out of these which will be soon
