Ah alright is their any other predator fish that can live ins a 125 with oscars
I think there’s lots of catfish that would do well with the oscars. Just keep in mind a 125 is on the small side for two oscars and if they get along, you’re looking at lots of maintenance and adding another predator is gonna make it that much more.

Lazybum34 Lazybum34 ,

I kind of saw this thread with a side eye...not sure why you'd want a predator in a 125 with an oscar. Oscars are a centerpiece fish and so would a predator be (I guess depending on the fish). 2 O's in a 125 would be really tight and not leave space/water volume for anything else. Single would be better. A 180 would give you more wiggle room, especially if the oscars are big. OR a Jag pair or one in a 180 too. But not all together. Oscars would give you a better chance for smaller tankmates. You're basically talking either or as a centerpiece, O or Jag. Pick one.

Some nice possibilities with one oscar would be acaras, a chocolate cichlid, rainbow cichlids or severum. I've had those combos with success. I haven't had a jag so I don't know of any good combinations for those. But everything I've read says long term you're limited with options. Possibly convicts or jewel cichlids might work with a Jag.
