Can anyone give me a list of commonly used (that work) 2 part epoxy's. I'd like to know the cheap and the expensive. My buddy's dad owns a lumberyard and he says that he can order me the stuff at wholesale prices. I just need the names so i can look up SKU's and maybe i can even pass on the savings to all the MFKers here. :grinyes:

will 2 part apoxy flex with the plwood as it bows? or will it crack?

I've had good experience with WestSystem Epoxy, 105 resin and 206 slow hardener. It's not inexpensive though. I buy 32 oz of resin at a time. At least it lasts a long time in storage.

In regards to flex, it doesn't flex much, and really shouldn't flex at all, but then your plywood should not be flexing that much either ;~).

It doesnt get much cheaper than "bondo" fiberglass resin, 25 bucks a gallon, availble in menards or home depot, or ace stores automotive department, i even bought a patch kit that came with some fiberglass cloth to make all corners stronger.

no flex to bondo, i put some on a test piece, flexed it, it busted and cracked instantly

Great post. I still believe that you "get what you pay for." Enjoi_madness, you're in Fresno. Then you have been to Whities. What do you think of that place? We have fish from there that are thriving!
I digress: use the resin.
