2 Percula Clown or 1 Maroon Clown

Deciding what to get. Dont want to keep any other fish with these gusy cept for maybe a cleaner shrimp and some hermit crabs.

Both these clowns look good, the percula is nice and bright and having two of them is fun to watch. they are cheaper two.

but then that money that is used to buy two perculas can be used to buy one nice looking maroon clown. but somtimes one fish gets boring.


dunno this is hard, i like them both, but i have to pick just one.. im leaning towards the two percula clowns more.

which one do you guys like better? =^_^=?

id go with the piar, but if you could i would get a pair of maroons. i have a pair of gold stripe maroons and they are really cool to watch

id say go with the perculas as well. i had a maroon and he was very mean lol. I was unable to house another with him so ended up giving him to my cousin to put in his pred tank. The perculas are much easier to maintain and get to breed if you ever decided too.

ooo hurray! Score more for Percula!!! yeah i thought about getting two maroon cuz the pair wud also look cool. but then thats way too over budget for me, and i think id need bigger tank when they get bigger. I accedentally released a maroon clown in the store in a tank where i thought there was no other clown fish.. and then all of a sudden this bigger maroon clown comes out of no where and im like opps..lol =S then i had to take it out =^_^= lol

yeah i like hardy! hardy is nice =D


btw percula clwons i know the female ones are bigger.. but..

getting a random pair that roughly the same size from the store... whether they end up being male and female or both female or both male... they wud not be agressive towards each otehr would they?

if you have the space and money go for the pair of marroons... they can be just as excting as the percs.. but are a little different

yeah a pair of maroons would be neat also! but yeah liek u said space and money, those wud be a probleml ol =T__T=. But dont worry if ever in the future ill give two maroons a try when i have both space and money!

i have a maroon, my buddy has a pair of percs. I like the way my maroon showboats more so to speak, but the percs are more colorful...

Also, the percs don't grow as large, so depends on what size tank you have available.
