Sand is play sand from lowes. The wood is madrona harvested, and cured my me. Thank you all so much for all your kind words. I am very happy with this tank. When it was all set up I said to myself I used to envy people that had tanks like this. And I still do envy some I have a long way to go before I do a build or purchase of a true monster tank but I just quit smoking and hope to start saving for something in the 300 gallon range. ::edit:: as far as my stock selection goes, I started with pearsei and decided I would go with a stock from one of there wild locations although not specific to any one part of the river all these fish (not these exact fish) are found in the rio tulija. That's where the stock list came from was that river system. So its kind of a natural stock list.
