Motoros are genuinly intrested in everything eatable,when i got my first in, they got right on the worms.Then i cutted up worms and let them lay in a sousage with shrimp and everything else i wanted to give them. 1 week after, they all ate shrimp, frozen fish filet, scampi, whatever i threw in.
If it is eating, its healthy, and the worst time is over, now you can experiment a little. i would deff go with the worms, as for the souse reason, worms smells heavy, and if they eat worm, and you put something with the worms for a day(cutted up worms), they most likely eat that aswell, becouse the smell is identical, and heavy

hahaah! yea i totally agree that the worms smell pretty bad! will give it a second try since now its eating! will stop feeding my catfishes and try worms again for the next 3 days? will update results! anyway he's just a tiny 5" pup heh!
