The problem with two pumps is if they are connected to the same piping system if one dies the other working pump move water through the path of least resistance which is out the inflow of the dead pump. This means your tank will be getting very little flow. If your going to run multiple pumps each should be on its own return plumbing or u can run check valves to ensure water doesn’t back flow.

Excellent thought! Im going to run its own return plumbing just because its easier .
