2 RB's in a 55 ?

would i be able to keep to RB's in my 55 gallon tank for life or should i just stay with one ?

You'd be able to keep it in a 55 for a long time. You should just go with 3 though so when a dominate one emerges, the aggression will be spread out onto 2 instead of 1. When they hit the 10 inch or so mark, you'd probably want to upgrade since a 55 is only 12 inches wide, you're talking 2-3 years before they hit that mark though.

ok so i bought 2 more RB's today . i know im going to need a bigger tank in a few years what size would be best for 3 RB's when they are full grown

3 is probably all. I had 3 in a 55 and it only was 6-8 months before I needed an upgrade.
