Makes you wonder how it even got this big without getting stunted...hmm.

Also, laws in place regulating tank size before raising fish? Who would monitor it? No offense but I wouldn't pay tax money for that.

It would be to hard to monitor but certain fish such as the arrowana should be by liscence only to reduce the abuse of them

How would the licenses work? People would lie about their fish tank sizes. I doubt LFS people would drop by your house to check. It would be too much of a hassle. I think it would be better if we just tried to educate people more before they buy the fish. Sadly that doesn't work well either, since most lfs just want to sell fish and make money.
