I totally agree with your both. They're reasons that some people can't put together a correct sentence or spell words correctly, its because english might not be there first language. But for the rest of you english speakers, there is no excuse. Ima get me another too.

Back to the topic...
There are many different people on this board with different backgrounds in country of origin. This board is an international board so try to imagine people from other countries trying reading our replies. English is not everyone's first language. Education levels varies among all, some people on this board probably has PhD, some barely a high school education.

We come here to see monster fishes (well, at least i do). Not to be English teachers in training or write term papers either.

I can't have a beer, i am at work.

Since we are on pet peeves about the internet.. i HaTe WhEn PeOpLe TyPe LiKe ThIs. I dont know why but it just drives me crazy. :nilly:

Smile Everyone and lets all go grab a beer. :headbang2

Since we're ranting.... If your post is more than three or four lines, break it up into paragraphs. Nothings worse than one long paragraph! English doesn't have to be your native language to incorporate paragraphs.

- Just my 2 cents -

O.K. So some of us agree, some don't, some don't care either way. That's all good.
One thing I do know is that a lot of us fishkeepers like to drink!
Bottoms up folks!

Just reading my post and would like to make a correction:

there is no excuse

should read:

their is no excuse

My mistake.

The other two uses of they're and there are already completely incorrect.

Sometimes I post right before I go to bed after doing hours of homework, and I don't feel like writing perfectly. I'm not dumb, but I have yet to convince my father of that. LOL

I often wonder if the people that use the launguage of the interwebs have problems writing term papers. I would hate to be a teacher and grade papers with crap like "ur", "u", and "thru". I'd have to have a stamp that said "FAIL".
