2 tigrinus in same tank???

Has anyone successfully kept 2 Tigrinus (Brachyplatystoma tigrinum) in the same tank/pond???
I have read conflicting reports accross the net. Will they kill each other?
So I figured I'd pose my query here. Any and all info is aprreciated.

I definately wouldn't try bro. If you can afford 2 tigs, you can definately afford 2 tanks for them!!! LOL

Ive got two 4 inch tigs together in a growout and so far no problems. I dont suspect the peace will last long though.

I had 2 tigrinus in a large 600 gallon 8x4x3 and not a problem with them ever. Made it to 18" all ok

you will find one grows much faster than the other then the problems will start

a tig is a great fish but one is enought in any tank

I have had some together til 6 or 8in. I have seen it done. How big is that guy now??
