I had 2 tigrinus in a large 600 gallon 8x4x3 and not a problem with them ever. Made it to 18" all ok

I agree. Had two in the same footprint of a tank for over a year with no problems. The key is space. Provide enough footprint where they can each call their own and they will get along. So it would depend on your size tank.

I lost them not because they didn't get along. I lost them because my took a nose dive when I went on vacation the water temp was literally boiling when I got home =-(

I am glad to hear. I got myself two more. :D I have one that I feed no live and one I feed live purposly to. I want him big quick. Take care

i agree that if the tank is big enough and given their own territory it can work. 3+ would be better spread the agression. I saw Joey's pair and became a believer because before i didnt think it would work out. I had 2 4" in a 100g growout and it didnt work so I had to let one go.

Florencebigfish: they are pretty hardy if you take good care of them. :D

just make sure they are feed daily when young.
