wow cute little active fella! my bichirs aint that active haha! but i notice it's colour is fading, perhaps changing ur substrate to red sand would help it darken up! just a suggestion! cheers!

Watch the neons, fish don't do very well eating neons they carry a disease that doesn't show in tetra but do in other fish

Thanks guys for all ur kind words! Yah his color has faded a little do to the tan/white pool filter sand, in the future, like a couple months from now, if I go back to black sand will his color come back? Or does keeping him on lighter substrate cause permanent light coloring?
