nice price but check this two other website... more reliable. the difference is that it states aqua 500 but i have never seen one like that box.

No they are the same product. It is just the old style packaging. I still have few in my garage like that. It changed about a year ago maybe a little more. 110 is the same as 500.
They may just be trying to blow out old stock so they can get new packaging, also the old ones do not come with the ceramic bio-media.
okey.. my mistake then. i just thought it was not the same. i'll order then. that is a deal. you can't beat that!
I have seen those boxes. Reminds me of the good ole days way back when i first started fish keeping. i think those are just thier remainding supplies of ac 500 which was discontinued which is why they are soo cheap. same thing as ac 11o. very good deal..
Just thought I'd add that they changed the style of the box when they modified the filter. The media basket used to just slide in or out and in some rare occasions the basket would rise causing water to spill out the back. It happened to me! The new modification was they added this little notch that keeps the basket in place and when you need to change the media you give a slight squeeze and then pull.
