The drift wood is about 12' long and over 3' high all together.
i have seen full tank shot of his on Aqualife Magazine (Japan) before.. its simply awesome...ultimatejay;2934836;2934836 said:I'm not doubting or putting down your fish or pictures. It just looks to me like the fish are outlined. If you look at their fins vs the background it just does not look like a natural pic. It looks photoshopped to me or enhanced. Either way very nice fish. Is there any reason you don't post full tank shots as requested? I and I know many other would like to see them.

when you taken these awesome pix and have these awesome fish.. you create a standard for your pix and fish... and you just dont just snap just any pix and post it. so maybe ashdavid is waiting for the prefect timing and setting![]()
Ok, where to begin... A little lesson for you in sharpening. First read this, and this , especially the part about how sharpening works by identifing the edges. And really read the blueberry part. Since there are no edges in the background and all sharpening produces halos, of corse it is going to look like there is an out line around the fish, b/c that is where the edge is. And the image looked at under magnification will of corse look like it has an out line on it. I did the sharpening at a strenght to be looked at at the size I posted ,not under magnification and on my monitor there are no visible halos on the pic. You either need to get your monitor calibrated or stop trying to look at it at magnification.ultimatejay;2934836; said:I'm not doubting or putting down your fish or pictures. No matter. It's a beautiful setup.

As for posting full tank shots, I have done it in the past with the occupants that are in the tank now. Why do I have to post a full tank shot so "someone" can get an idea of how big the fish are. I am not posting to display how big the fish, that is inconsequential, I am only posting to show some fish that I am keeping and stating the size upfront b/c inevitably people do want to know how big they are. So you can think what ever you like about the tank and the fish. And If I ever get around to posting a full tank shot I will.
I don't know ,are we sure .... 1850L/500g's or 7000L/1850g decide for yourself.
This was taken many years ago. and on the top of the middle tank is a 500ml bear can and I could not fit the whole tank in the pic with the lens I had at the time, the tank is a little wider than this.
