thats kinda random..finding sunfish in a tank of feeders...ive never heard of that before

most of the feeder fish supliers just have big ponds with lots of adult fish and catch the babys 1 time a year and somtimes the ponds have creeks flowing into them and whatever lives in the creeks somtimes gets sent with the shipments to stores. one time a pike came in to our store:)

wow thats weird...does this happen often???

no they take most of them out but simtimes a few get throu.happens like once in every few batches.but i like it when it does:grinyes: .

thats a pretty good deal, but i would just go to the pond right by my house and scope some up with a net

Not everybody has a pond right next to thier houses.

Yeah, and not everyone has a net either. Twenty cents is a lot cheaper than a net, or even the gas money to get to the location. I do enjoy collecting my own fish though.

haha i dont have a net eather, i use my friends and dont need gas cause i can walk there

they put sunnies in there to eat large aquatic bugs that would harm the goldfish, but they also get bullfrogs and crayfish in the stock pools wich eat the goldfish so sometimes you get crayfish and bullfrog tadpoles for free with a large shipment of feeders.
