20 gallon long breeding ideas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well i just counted 15 fry in the 5.5 and there could be more in the hornwort plant so i just have a rough idea on how many there are lol but anyway ok my 20 gallon long will be open this spring and i will be able to breed stuff in it ok my question is do i want to breed crowntail bettas, bristlenose plecos, or convicts in it? i would like to have something profitable in it that i could sell to the lfs or craigslist or somthing so what do you guys think?

if u want something easy breeding and that which can get you returns
i would suggest red cherry or crystal red shrimps,
easy to keep and breed and taken by any lfs or hobbyist readily

they dont sell them and nowhere around here sells them

You can soon change that though couldn't ya? I see that as an open market. Ask the LFS if they would be interested in selling them if they had a supplier, and then you'd be set if they said they would. Just order some in from some site, and you'd be good to go.

i could do that but id rather breed fish like what i mentioned on page 5

try neolamprologus multifaciatus...said to be the smallest cichlid in the world. I had a herem in a 20 long w/ fancy guppies. dont over stock tho...
