Do skirt tetras have a good feeding response? Buenos aires will eat my plants.

Buenos Aires tetras would be a perfect fit. They school very well, have great color, and are also aggressive feeders. They stay small, so the 20 gal shouldn't be a limiting factor. Mine used to grab feeder guppies from my ATF, so they do go after tiny fish/fry if that's what you're looking for.

I have 6 black phantoms in my sons tank. They always school together and are suprisingly aggressive feeders.

Columbian tetras? They look piranha-ish with the red fins, get fairly decent sized, and are active schoolers. I wish I had discovered them before I put my black skirts in, as they seem like a more interesting and cooler looking tetra.
