to be perfectly honest with you i don't belive you can hold any real monster fish in a 20 gal aquaria you could poberbly get an East african cichlid tank set up with some small species in there i think that would be your best bet matey !

I dont see why you singled me out in that post. I didnt agree for him being banned. and I didnt bring it up. I know this is here for info to be posted and traded. and I posted a thoughtful post in another forum. But seriously, yo.... like 10 threads. but if he has ten threads and it's ok with the people who run this board, than all y'all haters better stop hatin' on that guy. I'm sorry i call you a dumbass if youre still here, dogg....but like seriously, if ya got 8 or 9 threads and arent gettin a response you want then maybe you should post that question on another board if people arent giving you the correct answers....or the answers you want....

what im not sure is if he really needs help with his tank or hes just being an annoying post whore

bigfish- sell all you 20 gal tanks and save for a monster tank, i think no fish deserves to live in a 20 gal, your being desperate to keep monsters, dont go that way.
 
there is really no difference between blood parrot and jelly bean... I have jelly's that are way too big for a 20 and why give the guy such a hard time he is just looking for advice isn't that what this forum is for? If you don't want to give him advice ignore him and go to the next one but don't attack the guy cuz he doesn't a large tank but still wants a predator... try a school of spotted puffers they will tear up small goldfish... or were you guys just upset because you could'nt come up with an answer for him?
 
Well if he wants to keep it gangsta, then I suggest trying to stuff 2 juvenile breeding pairs of cons in that 20g and watch how hard a couple of pipe hittin' SA's can be....it'll be bloody, thats fo sho! and cons only 5 bucks a piece or so.....
 
You do ask this 20 gal question alot........but I would get a 55 gallon tank at least if you want any sort of monster. You could put a variety of cichlids in that and see who lives. If they spawn you'll have your own hybrid.

If you wanna just buy one, I have a Blood Parrot and it is cool.

man do a pair of convicts and a small rubbernose pleco. during breeding times throw some goldfish in and watch the carnage. now fill the tank or bust it. Tank all you tanks and 20 bucks trade them in and get a 29 or 40 gal even . you could get a 40 with footprint of 18 by 36 for ccheap
